6-indaneruthenium(II)] dichloroform solvateAbstract: In the chloroform solvate of the dinuclear ruthenium complex [RuCl2(
6-indane)]2, C18H20Cl4Ru2·2CHCl3, accessible from RuCl3·nH2O and bicyclo[4.3.0]nona-3,6(1)-diene, the indane ligands adopt an envelope conformation toward the ruthenium atoms. The dimeric chloro-bridged molecule has crystallographic inversion symmetry.
