10-(1,3-Benzothiazol-2-yl)-2,3,6,7-tetrahydro-1H,5H-11H-[1]benzopyrano[6,7,8-ij]-quinoliz-11-one

Abstract: The title compound, C₂₂H₁₈N₂O₂S, is also known as coumarin 545. The 2-benzothiazolyl and quinolizine groups are each nearly planar and are twisted slightly at 6.4  (1)° to each other. The molecules are stacked in layers oblique to (110) and (111).
