Abstract: An N₂S₂-donor set defines the approximately tetrahedral coordination environment about the zinc centre in the monomeric title compound, [Zn(S₂COⁱPr)₂(4,7-Me₂phen)] or [Zn(C₄H₇OS₂)₂(C₁₄H₁₂N₂)], which has crystallographically imposed twofold rotation symmetry.
