The title compound, μ-penta­cyclo­[26.4.0.09,14.017,22.025,30]­dotriaconta-1,3,5,9,11,13,15,17,19,21,25,27,29,31-tetradecaene-7,24-diyne-bis­(tri­carbonyl­cobalt) di­chloro­methane solvate, [Co22-C32H20)(CO)6]·CH2Cl2, has been prepared by treatment of a de­hydro­benzoannulene with octa­carbonyldi­cobalt. This cobalt complex is chiral in the solid state and exhibits alternate arrays of P- and M-conformations.
