Ethyl 9H-1,2,3,4-tetrahydrocarbazole-3-carboxylate

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₅H₁₇NO₂, consists of a tetrahydrocarbazole skeleton with a carboxyethyl group at position 3. Molecules are linked about inversion centres by N-HO hydrogen bonds [NO 2.908  (4)  Å] to form centrosymmetric dimers.
