Lithium tetrakis(tri-tert-butoxysilanethiolato)gallate(III)

Abstract: The title compound, Li[Ga(C₁₂H₂₇O₃SSi)₄], has been obtained as a by-product of the reaction of a metastable GaBr solution with (^tBuO)₃SiSLi. The asymmetric unit is composed of two separate molecules. Each lithium cation is coordinated by two O atoms from butoxy groups of the ligand.
