Abstract: The crystal structure of the title complex, (C₁₀H₁₆N)[Ni(C₃S₅)₂], is characterized by its three-dimensional weak SS intermolecular interactions and can be described as an arrangement of quasi-planar [Ni(dmit)₂]^- anions, separated by closed-shell (benzyltrimethylammonium) cations.
