2,2'-[1,4-Phenylenebis(methylenethio)]dithiazole

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₄H₁₂N₂S₄, crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2₁/c. The molecule is centrosymmetric; the two thiazole rings are parallel to each other, while the thiazole and the benzene planes are almost perpendicular to each other, forming a dihedral angle of 100.6 (2)°.
