N-(4-Methoxyphenyl)quinoline-2-carboxamide

Abstract: The quinolyl and phenyl rings in the title compound, C₁₇H₁₄N₂O₂, are almost coplanar. There is an intramolecular hydrogen bond between the quinoline N atom and the amide N atom [NN = 2.6602 (17) Å and N-HN = 112°].
