Abstract: The racemic title compound, C₁₈H₂₂N₂O, isolated from the reaction of 2-(1-benzyl-2-pyrrolidinylidene)acetonitrile, 2,4-dibromo-3-pentanone and nonacarbonyldiiron, crystallizes in a centrosymmetric monoclinic space group with four symmetry-equivalent molecules per unit cell. All bond lengths and angles are within expected ranges.
