Abstract: Unlike a previously reported structure for racemic naringenin [systematic name: 2,3-dihydro-5,6-dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one], C15H12O5, both S and R enantiomers appear to occupy somewhat randomly the four crystallographic sites of the unit cell in an approximate 3:1/1:3 ratio.
