2-(4-Chlorophenyl)-4-(2-hydroxyethyl)-5-methyl-2,4-dihydro-3H-1,2,4-triazol-3-one

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₁H₁₂ClN₃O₂, the dihedral angle between the phenyl and triazole rings is 30.63 (9)°. An intermolecular O-HO hydrogen bond is formed between the hydroxy group and the carbonyl group of the triazole moiety of a neighbouring molecule. This interaction links the molecules into chains, which run parallel to the c axis. C-HO intermolecular hydrogen bonds are also observed.
