5-Methoxy-4-(4-methoxyphenyl)isochroman-3-ol

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₇H₁₈O₄, the hydroxyl and methoxyphenyl substituents are in axial positions. The heterocyclic ring adopts a half-chair conformation. The molecules are linked by O-HO hydrogen bonds, leading to dimerization.
