Abstract: In the title compound, [Zn(C2H3O2)2(C7H6N2S)2], the Zn atom is four-coordinated in the ZnO2N2 form in a distorted tetrahedral geometry. The amino groups act as donors in N-H
O hydrogen bonds. Two intermolecular N-H
O hydrogen bonds interconnect the molecules into a three-dimensional network. The planes of the acetate ligands are nearly orthogonal, and the Zn atom is displaced slightly from these two planes.
