1-Ethyl-2-nitroguanidine

Abstract: The structure of the title compound, C₃H₈N₄O₂, is similar to other nitrimines. The nitroguanyl group is planar and is stabilized by an intramolecular hydrogen bond. Intermolecular hydrogen bonds hold the molecules together in the crystal.
