Guaninium sulfate monohydrate

Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, C5H7N5O2+·SO42-·H2O, the guaninium cation, the sulfate anion and the water molecule form a network of hydrogen bonds. The structure consists of layers of guaninium ions and water molecules parallel to the diagonal of the ac plane, linked by strong hydrogen bonds.
