Abstract: The structure of the title compound, [Fe₄(C₇H₄S₃)(C₁₈H₁₅P)(CO)₁₁], obtained by heating the tetranuclear complex Fe₄S₃C₁₉O₁₂H₄ with an excess of triphenylphosphine in acetone at 328  K, shows that PPh₃ has replaced one carbonyl on the less hindered Fe atom.
