Abstract: The title compound, C₂₉H₁₉Cl₂NO₃, crystallizes with two molecules in the asymmetric unit. The pyran ring of the flavanone moiety is puckered due to the saturation of a bond and this causes the ring to adopt a sofa conformation. The spiroisoxazoline rings adopt envelope conformations. The phenyl rings on the isoxazoline ring are perpendicular to each other. The structure is stabilized by intermolecular C-HO and C-HN hydrogen bonds.
