Abstract: The title compound, C29H19Cl2NO3, crystallizes with two molecules in the asymmetric unit. The pyran ring of the flavanone moiety is puckered due to the saturation of a bond and this causes the ring to adopt a sofa conformation. The spiroisoxazoline rings adopt envelope conformations. The phenyl rings on the isoxazoline ring are perpendicular to each other. The structure is stabilized by intermolecular C-H...O and C-H...N hydrogen bonds.
