Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₇H₁₄O₃, the conformation of the pyran ring is intermediate between sofa and half-chair. In the crystal structure, the hydroxyl and carbonyl O atoms are involved in O-HO intermolecular hydrogen bonding, forming chains along the a axis.
