Undecacarbonyl([mu]4-2-thiodithiobenzoato-[kappa]4C,S,S',S'')(trimethylphosphite)tetrafer

E. A. Laifa, N. Benali-Cherif and H. Merazig

Abstract: The monosubstituted [Fe4{P(OCH3)3}(C7H4S3)(CO)11] cluster is obtained by heating, at 328 K, the tetranuclear complex, TN [Fe4(CO)12(C7H4S3)], with an excess of trimethylphosphite in acetone. The structure shows that P(OMe)3 has replaced one carbonyl on the second Fe atom in the symmetric part of this tetranuclear cluster.
