Dichloro(N,N-dimethylethylenediamine)cadmium(II): a novel two-dimensional chloro-bridged coordination polymer

Abstract: Polymeric dichloro(N,N-dimethylethylenediamine)cadmium(II), [CdCl₂(C₄H₁₂N₂)]_n, has been synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The two-dimensional polymeric sheet structure involves 12-membered zigzag rings formed by chloro bridges.
