N-(4-Bromophenyl)pyridine-2-carboxamide

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₂H₉BrN₂O, (I), the pyridyl and bromophenyl rings are almost coplanar. There is an intramolecular N-HN hydrogen bond between the pyridine N atom and the amide N atom [NN = 2.657  (3)  Å and N-HN = 112.6°].
