Abstract: In the title compound, C₂₃H₂₈N₂O₉, the substituted 1,4-dihydropyridine ring has a flat-boat conformation. The dihedral angle between the mean planes of the 1,4-dihydropyridine and substituted phenyl rings is 88.10 (9)°. The 3-nitro substituent on the phenyl ring is rotated from coplanarity with the ring by only 3.2 (2)°.
