N,N'-Bis(benzamidothiocarbonyl)hydrazine dimethyl sulfoxide disolvate

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₆H₁₄N₄O₂S₂·2C₂H₆OS, the molecule is discrete and centrosymmetric. The benzoylthiuourea and benzoyl groups are cis and trans, respectively, to the thiourea S atom across the C-N bonds. In the crystal structure, the molecule is linked to the solvent DMSO molecules by N-HO hydrogen bonds.
