(18-Crown-6-⁶O)potassium 2,4-dinitrophenolate 2,4-dinitrophenol

Abstract: In the title compound, [K(C₁₂H₂₄O₆)](C₆H₃N₂O₅)·C₆H₄N₂O₅, the 18-crown-6-potassium ion is centrosymmetric, with the O atoms from o-nitro groups of the anions above and below the plane. The phenolate O atoms of adjacent anions are connected by short symmetrical hydrogen bonds [2.453  (4)  Å], forming chains in the c direction.
