Abstract: The title dimethylhydrazide o-FC₆H₄C(O)NHNMe₂, or C₉H₁₁FN₂O, is compared structurally both with other aroyl hydrazides, ArC(O)NHNH₂, and with related trimethylammonio ylides, Me₃N(+)-N(-)C(O)Ar.
