Abstract: The molecular structure of the title compound, C₂₁H₂₄O₂, reveals a chair conformation for the pyran ring, in which the methyl and p-tolyl groups occupy equatorial positions. A C-H interaction is observed between an H atom of the tetrahydropyran ring and one of the aromatic rings.
