Abstract: In the title compound, [Sn(C6H5)3(C2O2F3)(H2O)]2·2C10H8N2, the coordinated water molecule forms a hydrogen bond to the N atom of each of the two N-heterocycles [Owater
N = 2.754 (3) and 2.795 (3) Å]; the pyridyl rings of the N-heterocycle are twisted by 34.2 (1)°. The Sn atom is five-coordinate in a trans-C3SnO2 trigonal-bipyramidal geometry.
