Tetrachloro(N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine)zirconium(IV)

Abstract: The crystal structure of the title compound, [ZrCl₄(C₆H₁₆N₂)], has a distorted octahedral coordination geometry. The chloro ligands trans to the nitrogen donors have significantly shorter bonds than the chloro ligands which are mutually trans.
