Acta Cryst. (2003). E59, o555-o557 [ doi:10.1107/S1600536803006470 ]
Abstract: The pentacyclic quinoline alkaloid mersinine A, C25H28N2O9, was isolated from the leaves of Kopsia fruticosa (Ker.) A DC. The molecule has a hydroxyl group that forms a hydrogen bond with the carbonyl O atom of an adjacent molecule, which gives rise to infinite chains running along the c axis of the crystal.
