Abstract: The title compound, Ph2P(O)CH2N(CH2Ph)C5H4N or C25H23N2OP, was obtained by reaction of Ph2PCH2N(CH2Ph)C5H4N and H2O2. The crystal structure shows distorted tetrahedral geometry around the P atom.
