Abstract: Both zinc dithiocarbamates and sterically hindered phenols are known to exhibit antioxidant activity. As part of an investigation on the effect of both moieties being combined in one molecule, the title compound, [Zn(C₁₇H₂₆NOS₂)₂], has been prepared and its crystal structure determined.
