Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₂H₁₂O₃, the pyran ring adopts a half-chair conformation. In the crystal, the inversion-related molecules exist as O-HO hydrogen-bonded dimers and these dimeric pairs are reinforced by C-HO interactions.
