2-[2-(5-Ethoxy-4-methoxy-2-nitrophenyl)vinyl]-1H-indole

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₉H₁₈N₂O₄, the indole moiety is planar and the dihedral angle between it and the substituted phenyl ring is 24.38  (5)°. In the solid state, inversion-related molecules are linked to form N-HO hydrogen-bonded dimers. The molecular packing is stabilized by C-H interactions.
