2-(2-Hydroxyphenyl)-1,3-dithiane

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₀H₁₂OS₂, the dithiane ring adopts a chair conformation. An intramolecular C-HO interaction forms an S(5) graph-set ring. Intermolecular O-HS and C-HO hydrogen bonds link the molecules into sheet-like assemblies parallel to the ab plane.
