(9-Anthrylmethyl)trimethylammonium chloride monohydrate

Abstract: The title compound, C18H20N+·Cl-·H2O, contains a tetraalkylammonium chloride functionality bound to an anthryl moiety. There are two formula units in the asymmetric unit of the crystal structure, with a dihedral angle of 22.55  (1)° between the anthryl planes.
