-bis(diphenylphosphino)methane-
2P:P']di-
3-sulfanido-trisilver(I) hexafluoroantimonate dichloromethane disolvateAbstract: The
3-SH dicapped trisilver compound [Ag3(
-dppm)3(
3-SH)2]SbF6·2CH2Cl2 [dppm is bis(diphenylphosphino)methane, C25H22P2], formed by the reaction between [Ag2(
-dppm)2(MeCN)2](SbF6)2 and [Pd(phen)(tdt)] (phen is o-phenanthroline and tdt is toluene-3,4-dithiolate) through the disruption of C-S bonds, exhibits a trigonal bipyramid core, with two
3-SH ligands at the apices. The Ag atoms are located in tetrahedral environments with P2S2 donors.
