Abstract: The molecular structure of the title compound, C11H12N2O3S, adopts a cis-trans configuration with respect to the position of the benzoyl and propionic acid groups relative to the S atom across the thiourea C-N bonds, respectively. In the crystal structure, the molecules are linked by weak N-H
S, N-H
O and O-H
O interactions to form a two-dimensional network perpendicular to the a axis.
