Abstract: In the title compound, C₇H₁₁Cl₂NO₃·0.41H₂O, the D and L forms are linked by N-HO and C-HO hydrogen bonds to form centrosymmetric dimers. These hydrogen bonds form rings of graph-set motif R₂²(14), R₂²(10) and R₂¹(6). The dimers are linked together by O-HO hydrogen bonds to form two-dimensional molecular networks.
