Abstract: The title compound, Ph₃Sn[S₂CN(Me)C₆H₁₁], has an isobidentate ligand, with the tin coordination geometry intermediate between tetrahedral and distorted trigonal bipyramidal, owing to the presence of a long intramolecular SnS interaction of 3.0134  (8)  Å.
