Abstract: [Re(C₂H₃N)(C₁₀H₈N₂)₂(CO)₃][SbF₆]·0.5CH₂Cl₂ was isolated from the reaction between [Re(bpy)(CO)₃Cl], where bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, and AgSbF₆ in acetonitrile. The rhenium atom has a distorted octahedral geometry.
