(⁶-Benzene)bis(⁶-p-cymene)tri--hydrido-₃-oxo-triruthenium hexafluorophosphate

Abstract: The trinuclear arene-ruthenium cluster cation [H₃Ru₃(⁶-C₆H₆)(⁶-C₆H₄MePrⁱ-p)₂(₃-O)]⁺has been synthesized and crystallized as the hexafluorophosphate salt. The cation possesses a mirror plane through the (⁶-benzene)ruthenium moiety and the ₃-O atom, and is disordered over a perpendicular mirror plane that includes the three Ru atoms.
