2-tert-Butyl-4-methyl-6-(1-piperidiniomethyl)phenol perchlorate

Abstract: In the crystal structure of the title compound, C₁₇H₂₈NO⁺·ClO₄^-, the N-protonated piperidine ring is present in the normal chair conformation. The perchlorate anions link the cations, through intermolecular N-HO and O-HO hydrogen bonds, forming a chain-like structure.
