Abstract: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C₆H₂₁N₄³⁺·3C₇H₄NO₄^-·2H₂O, consists of two triply protonated base molecules, six benzoate anions and four water molecules, one of which is unequally disordered across two adjacent sites in an extensive hydrogen-bonded network.
