[⁵-1,2-Bis(4-nitrophenyl)cyclopentadienyl](⁵-cyclopentadienyl)iron

Abstract: The title compound, 1,2-bis(4-nitrophenyl)ferrocene, [Fe(C₅H₅)(C₁₇H₁₁N₂O₄)], crystallizes with the planes of the two vicinal 4-nitrophenyl rings subtending angles of 46.04 (6) and 36.30 (7)° at the plane of the substituted cyclopentadiene ring of the ferrocene moiety.
