N](triphenylarsine-
As)gold(I)Abstract: The title compound, [Au(C10H9N4O2S)(C18H15As)], is isostructural with the triphenylphosphine analog [Lang et al. (2003). Acta Cryst. C59, m95-m96]. The geometry is nearly linear at the AuI center, with Au-N = 2.0552 (15) Å, Au-As = 2.3266 (6) Å and N-Au-As = 171.56 (4)°. The molecules are joined by intermolecular N-H
O bonds between the amine and sulfonyl groups of the sulfadiazine ligand. The slightly shorter Au-N distance in the title compound compared to its triphenylphosphine analog is due to packing effects.
