Abstract: In the title compound, [Ni(C16H23N2O)2(NCS)2], a mononuclear complex possessing Ci symmetry, the NiII atom is coordinated by six atoms from two Schiff bases and two thiocyanate anions. In the crystal structure, molecules are held together by intermolecular N-H...S hydrogen bonds, which link the molecules along the b axis to form one-dimensional chains.
