Abstract: The title compound, C₂₄H₁₉ClN₂O, consists of a carbazole skeleton with ethyl and 4-chloroquinoline-N-aldehyde substituents. The dihydropyridine ring adopts a half-chair conformation. The molecular packing is stabilized by C-Cl interactions.
