Abstract: The title compound, {[Ag(C₂H₈N₂)](AsF₆)}_n, is a polymeric silver(I) complex. The Ag^I atom is coordinated by two N atoms from different ethylenediamine ligands, in a nearly linear geometry. The crystal structure consists of one-dimensional chains, which are stabilized by N-HF hydrogen bonds and weak AgF interactions.
