trans-Bis(benzylamine)dichloropalladium(II)

Abstract: The Pd atom in the title complex, [PdCl₂(C₇H₉N)₂] or trans-[PdCl₂(NH₂CH₂Ph)₂], lies on a twofold axis. It has a distorted square-planar coordination environment formed by two benzylamine and two Cl^- ligands. The symmetry-unique cis angles at the Pd atom are 86.25  (11) and 93.75  (11)°.
